IPS Tests for Turboshaft Aviation Engines

The aim of the IPS TEST, which is carried out in cooperation with ODTÜ Rüzgem and TEI; To determine IPS Aerodynamics and Particle Separation qualitatively and quantitatively. In this procedure, 4 separate tests are applied:

  • Aerodynamic Measurement Test

Static and total pressure inside the IPS section is detected.

  • Separation Efficiency Test

Powder separation is calculated.

  • Single Size Particle PIV/PTV Test

Determines the particle behavior in the IPS section.

  • PIV/PTV Flow Zone Test

Determines the flow characteristic.

Project Phases

Conceptual Design

Literature research, preliminary design and analysis activities are carried out during this phase.

Detailed Design

Finalizing the design, completing the detailed analysis, completing the model and preparing the production drawings are carried out during this phase.

Production Phases

Production planning and purchasing activities are carried out through this phase.

Prototype Product Production

FAI product production is carried out through this phase.

Verification Activities and Tests

In this phase, tests are carried out to meet technical demands.

Qualified Product

The production of the qualified product, whose verifications are completed and meets the technical requirements, is completed.
